This year's World Defense Show in Riyadh (February 8-12, 2026) delivered a solid dose of aviation excitement. There were fewer flying displays than in previous editions, but those that took place were top-notch. Here's a subjective summary of what happened in the skies over Malham.

NTIDOTUM Air Shows is a relatively new Polish air show event that is rapidly gaining popularity. The Antidotum Airshow Leszno 2025 was named "Airshow of the Year" by the international aviation magazine CHECKSIX.

The China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition took place from November 12 to 17, 2024, in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, marking the 15th edition of this event.

From September 6 to 7, 2024, AIRPOWER24 took place under the motto "Flying. Freedom. Enthusiasm." for the 11th time at the Hinterstoisser Air Base in Zeltweg.

Training and exercises at AXALP Fliegerschiessen 2023 at the Ebenfluh firing range in Switzerland provided an amazing display of the skills of Swiss Air Force pilots. Below are some photos:

Miramar is an annual event organized by the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California. It is certainly one of the must-attend events for aviation fans. Although the displays are short, they are very intense, especially the MAGTF (Marine Air-Ground Task Force) demonstration. Miramar was the first base of the famous Top Gun school. Most of the scenes from that iconic film were created here. Of course, every year the event is graced by the Blue Angels team in their F/A-18 Super Hornets.   fot: Zbigniew Chalota

"INIOCHOS 2023" saw the participation of 12 countries, a record number since 2015, when "INIOCHOS" was first held as INVITEX. Participants included Cyprus with an AW139 helicopter and JTACs, France with Rafales, India with SU-30s, Italy with Tornados, Jordan with F-16s, Saudi Arabia with F-15s, Slovenia with PC-9s and JTACs, Spain with EF-18s, the USA with F-16s, MQ-9s and JTACs, Austria with INTELs, and Canada with Air Battle Managers.

Training and exercises at AXALP Fliegerschiessen in Switzerland are both exercises and displays by the Swiss Air Force.
